From the street, one would think that Alfama TagusView is like any typical apartment in the oldest district of Lisbon, the Alfama district, with its cute stairways and pateos. This fully equipped apartment in the heart of the city is a great base for an unforgettable stay. Alfama  is almost completely pedestriansed and very quiet, still when arraiais (local street parties) take place (in June), music is “in the air”.
Alfama TagusView was fully refurbished and equipped to modern standards in 2015. It is a one bedroom apartment on the first floor of a traditional building. It comprises a bedroom with double bed for 2, a living room, a kitchenette and a modern shower room. In the living room, there is also a comfortable sofa bed to accommodate two more people. The apartment is located in a pleasant “patio” (small square) of the Alfama district. From the living room, you enjoy fantastic views to the São Miguel Church towers, typical housing and rooftops and the river Tejo!
The apartment's location is extremely privileged, and is located a couple of minutes from Miradouro de Santa Luzia (accessible by free public lift), 5 minutes from Portas do Sol, 5/10 minutes away from Terreiro do Paço Metro station (blue line) and less than 10 minutes walk from the Santa Apolónia Train and Metro station (train to Oriente/Expo and metro blue line). The city center (Praça do Comércio) is 10 minutes away on foot, through Alfama meandering streets and walkways.
The Castelo de São Jorge, one of Lisbon's most famous landmarks, is also around 10 minutes up the hill.
